Max Richard (politician)

Max Richard (born April 30, 1818 in Paris , † December 8, 1901 in Angers ) was a French businessman and politician .

Richard founded the first mechanical hemp spinning mill in Angers and was honored for his products at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1867 . In 1871 he was representing the department of Maine-et-Loire elected to the National Assembly (center-left).
