Max Richard (medic)

Max Richard (born July 1, 1897 in Langendorf ; † 1953 ) was a Swiss surgeon .

Richard received his doctorate in 1925 from the University of Basel with a thesis on pseudarthrosis on the femoral neck . He was an assistant doctor at the Surgical Clinic of the University of Basel and senior physician at the Cantonal Hospital in Winterthur and at the Surgical Clinic of the University of Basel. From 1931 he was chief physician at the city hospital in Rorschach . His specialty was goiter surgery .
