Max Schwobe

Max Schwobe (born December 7, 1874 in Altwette ; † March 24, 1955 in Hüsede ) was a German farmer and politician ( DNVP ).

Live and act

Schwobe was born the son of a farmer in Altwette. From 1880 to 1888 he attended elementary school in Altwette, then an agricultural school. After that he was temporarily part of the 1st Guards Regiment on foot . Until the beginning of the First World War, Schwobe, who had been married since 1906, worked as a farmer on his parents' farm.

From 1914 to 1918 Schwobe took part in the First World War as a sergeant . After the war, Schwobe began to become more politically active. The German National People's Party (DNVP) served him as a forum. In the first post-war years, Schwobe initially took on various honorary positions in his home district and in the cooperative system. He was also a member of the Provincial Parliament until 1930 .

In September 1930 Schwobe was elected as his party's candidate for constituency 9 (Opole) in the Reichstag , to which he belonged until July 1932. From March to October 1933 he was a member of the Prussian state parliament .
