Maximilian Christian Wieninger (born August 22, 1809 in Schönau am Lusen , † April 24, 1884 in Teisendorf ) was a Bavarian beer brewer, restaurateur and politician.

Wieninger was born as the son of the glassworks owner and later brewery owner Philipp Wieninger . In Teisendorf he took over his father's brewery, which he named after himself, the MC Wieninger private brewery . When it burned down in 1865 and was almost completely destroyed, he rebuilt it, enlarged it and modernized it. In addition to his gastronomic activities, Wieninger was also politically active. He was a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Deputies from 1855 to 1858. In November 1867 he moved back to the Chamber of Deputies for the Rosenheim beer brewer Thomas Steinböck , who left at his own request , to which he belonged until 1869.
