Max von Heckel

Max von Heckel (born November 16, 1935 in Munich ) is a former German local and state politician ( SPD ) with a focus on financial policy. From October 10, 1982 to May 11, 1996 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament , i.e. in the 10th to 13th legislative period.

Life

After studying law, Heckel worked in the Bavarian State Service from 1964 to 1973, most recently as Government Director in the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs . Then he was city treasurer in Munich until 1982. During this time he ran for office in 1978 after Lord Mayor Georg Kronawitter (SPD) renounced his candidacy , but was defeated by Erich Kiesl (CSU). In the state elections in autumn 1982 , Heckel won the direct mandate in what was then the Munich-Laim constituency. In the following three elections he entered the state parliament as a list candidate for the constituency of Upper Bavaria . In November 1996 he resigned his mandate in order to accept a post as general representative of the Thuringian construction bank . He was promoted to the board in 1997 and was responsible for the housing subsidy and special customers divisions.

Max von Heckel is married to Annemarie von Heckel and has six children.
