Maxi is a German women's magazine that was published by Bauer Media Group from 1998 to 2018 and has been published by Ocean Global since 2020.
From 1998 the magazine was published monthly by the Bauer Media Group. In spring 2018, the editorial office was relocated from Hamburg to Munich . On December 14, 2018, the Bauer Media Group announced the discontinuation of the magazine. The sold circulation had previously fallen from 311,355 copies in the first quarter of 1998 to 131,769 copies in the fourth quarter of 2018, a decrease of 57.7 percent.
Since March 2020, the magazine has been published ten times a year by the Kiel publisher Ocean Global, which has acquired a license from the Bauer Media Group.
