Maxim Gwindschija
Maxim Gwindschija ( Abkhaz Максим Харитон-иҧа Ҕәнџьиа / Maksim Chariton-ipa Ghundschia, Russian Максим Харитонович Гвинджия / Maxim Kharitonovich Gwindschija * 13. March 1976 in Sukhumi , Abkhaz ASSR , Georgian SSR , Soviet Union ) is an Abkhaz politician and was the 26th February 2010 to October 11, 2011 Foreign Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia.
Maxim Gwindschija studied at the State Educational Foreign Language Institute in Horlivka ( Ukraine ) and graduated in 1998. He then worked in the Abkhazian Foreign Ministry from 1999. In March 2004 he was appointed Deputy Foreign Minister. When Foreign Minister Sergei Shamba moved to the post of Prime Minister in February 2010, Gwindschija was his successor.
Gwindschija is married and has three sons.
