Maximilian Drum (born September 19, 1991 in Munich ) is a German soccer player .
Career
Maximilian Drum switched from TSV 1860 Munich to SpVgg Unterhaching at the age of 13 . There he went through the other youth teams and was already used at the age of 17 in the A-youth (U19) in the A-Juniors Bundesliga . Although he played there in the 2009/10 season after relegation a class lower, he got his first appearance in the U-23 in the Bayern League at the end of the season . He crowned his debut with the equalizer to 3: 3 and turned the game against TSV Buchbach again (Unterhaching II won 4: 3).
Although he was still eligible to play in the U-19s, Drum was used as a regular player in the second team the following year and made 30 appearances. The next step followed consistently in the 2011/12 season and the versatile defensive player was also included in the squad of the professional team. With a clear win in the game on August 27, 2011 against FC Carl Zeiss Jena , he was allowed to play in the third division for the first time in the final minutes . Then he blossomed into a regular player in the Unterhachingen third division team and came up with a total of 50 missions (one goal).
At the beginning of July 2013, the then 21-year-old switched to direct competitor SV Wacker Burghausen . There he signed a one-year contract with an option for another year.
The option to extend was not drawn for the 2014/15 season and so the clubless drum joined the regional division TSV Buchbach . There, the cruciate ligament tore on the fourth matchday in the home game on July 25, 2015 against FC Bayern Munich II and was out until matchday 27. On April 21, 2015 he made his comeback in the away game at FC Memmingen .
