Maximilian Felzmann
Maximilian Felzmann (born April 22, 1894 in Zwittau , Moravia , † June 8, 1962 in Seefeld in Tirol ) was a German officer , most recently general of the artillery in World War II .
Life
Felzmann served as an officer in the Army of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in the First World War . After the end of the war he was accepted into the Austrian army . He served there in various artillery units, including as a commander. In the Wehrmacht he led the 251st Infantry Division as commander during the Second World War . During the last weeks of the war, Felzmann led the XXVII as commanding general . Army Corps .
