Maximilian Paul Schulz (born January 24, 1994 in Stade ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ). He is the national spokesman for Linksjugend Solid and state spokesman for Linksjugend Solid Lower Saxony.

Life

After graduating from high school in Bremervörde , Schulz studied at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg from 2012 to 2019 . There he earned a Master of Arts in Philosophy and a Master of Education in Mathematics , Values ​​and Norms and Philosophy. He is currently doing his doctorate on Marx 's concept of the liberated society and is active in university teaching.

politics

From October 2016 Schulz appeared as an ambassador for the Oldenburg section of Jugend Rettet . He was also head of the nationwide embassies working group until April 2018. During his activity he gave lectures on the work of the association in Germany and took part as a speaker at the conference Migration Movements around the Mediterranean in September 2017 .

In November 2017 Schulz founded the new university list Die Linke.SDS Oldenburg with other active members . From April 2018 to April 2019 he was co-speaker of the General Student Committee (AStA) at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg.

At the end of 2017, Schulz joined the Left and Left Youth Solid. In January 2019 he was elected as state spokesman and deputy treasurer of the Linksjugend Solid Lower Saxony and re-elected as such in August 2019. At the federal congress of Left Youth Solid in April 2019, Schulz was elected national spokesman.

From February 2019 to February 2020 he was a member of the district board of Linken Oldenburg.

Focus

His political priorities are sea rescue, criticism of anti-Semitism and industrial action. As federal spokesman, he also focuses on international cooperation with other left-wing youth associations.
