Maxym Serhijowytsch Kalynytschenko ( Ukrainian Максим Сергійович Калиниченко ; born January 26, 1979 in Kharkiv ) is a Ukrainian football player .
The 1.76 m tall and 67 kg heavy midfielder began his career in 1996 at Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk , where he played until 2000. He then moved to Spartak Moscow , for whom he ran until 2008. From 2008 to 2010 he was again under contract in Dnepropetrovsk. In 2011 he moved to league rivals Tawrija Simferopol .
In 2002 he made his debut for the Ukrainian national team. It followed to this day (as of June 9, 2006) 20 more games in which he scored 3 goals. He was part of the squad for the 2006 World Cup in Germany . In the match between Ukraine and Saudi Arabia (June 19, 2006), he scored the fourth goal for his team in the game and prepared two. The game ended 4-0 for Ukraine. He was named Player of the Game by FIFA. He is also one of the best free kickers in the world.
