Wardy Alfaro Pizarro (born December 31, 1977 in Montecillos , Alajuela ) is a Costa Rican soccer goalkeeper .

Alfaro sat on the bench for a long time as a goalkeeper, at first division club AD Santos , where he was not used as a substitute goalkeeper, and at CS Cartaginés , where he made his first division debut in 2002. In 2004 he moved to the top club LD Alajuelense , where he was listed as number 3. But when number 1, Álvaro Mesén , said goodbye to CS Herediano , he prevailed as the new goalkeeper.
