Maybeshewill is a post-rock instrumental band from Leicester ( UK ). Some of her pieces contain small excerpts from film and pop culture .

Band history

Maybeshewill was founded in 2005 by guitarists Robin Southby and John Helps during their student days. In 2006, they released their first EP, Japanese Spy Transcript, on their own label, Robot Needs Home . The band had their last live appearance on April 15, 2016 in London.

On January 29, 2020, Maybeshewill announced their return to the stage and the work on new songs.

Musical style

Maybeshewill often use samples from film and pop culture in their pieces. For example, the piece Not For Want Of Trying contains an excerpt from the film network .
