The McCance Glacier is a glacier on the Loubet coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows into Darbel Bay immediately west of the Widdowson Glacier .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped it using aerial photographs from Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. from 1955 to 1957. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1959 after the British biochemist and physiologist Robert Alexander McCance (1898-1993) of the University of Cambridge , who between 1938 and 1958 was involved in developing concentrated food rations for British Polar expeditions was significantly involved.
