Barbara Wrede

Barbara Wrede (born February 10, 1966 in Hankensbüttel , Lower Saxony ) is a German visual artist.

Life

After graduating from high school, followed by an apprenticeship and work as a carpenter, Wrede studied fine arts from 1988 to 1994 with a focus on painting at the Kassel Art College . She works with the media of drawing , painting, photography, writing and text.

Her works have been shown in solo and group exhibitions since 1992. Her artistic work is accompanied by numerous publications. She has lived in Berlin since 1995 . She has been drawing and writing for the Berliner Zeitung since 2000 . Barbara Wrede is the sister of game designer Anja Wrede .
