The Widdowson Glacier is a glacier on the Loubet Coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows between the Drummond and McCance glaciers in Widdowson Cove , a side bay of Darbel Bay .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped it using aerial photographs from Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. from 1955 to 1957. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1959 after the British physician and nutritionist Elsie May Widdowson (1906-2000) from the University of Cambridge , who from 1938 to 1966 worked on the development of food rations for British Polar expeditions was involved.
