The Widdowson Cove is a 4.5 km wide and 7.5 km long bay on the Loubet Coast Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located south of Sokol Point on the south side of Darbel Bay . The Widdowson Glacier flows into it .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 2016, like the glacier of the same name in 1959, after the British physician and nutritionist Elsie May Widdowson (1906–2000) from the University of Cambridge , who worked from 1938 to 1966 on the development of food rations for British people Polar expeditions was involved.
