geography
The McCoy Stream is a glacial river that is formed by the outflow of a small glacier south of the 2350 m high Mount Goethe. The river is nestled between the heights of the Froude Range in the north and northwest and the Arboury Range in the south and southeast. After about 9 km of the river, the McCoy Stream together with the Frances River forms the Clyde River by confluence.
About 3.7 km southwest of the source of the McCoy Stream , McCoy Glacier feeds its glacial waters to the river.
