The McKenzie Peak is a 1,504 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . In the Athos Range of the Prince Charles Mountains, it rises immediately south of Mount Albion .
Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1965 were used for mapping purposes. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after John Francis McKenzie, a radio engineer at Wilkes Station in 1963.
