The McKnight Creek is a 1.5 km long glacial melt water flow in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Taylor Valley, it flows from the lower end of the Commonwealth Glacier in a south-westerly direction to the east end of Lake Fryxell , which it reaches between the Lost Seal Stream and Aiken Creek .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1992 after the American hydrologist Diane Marie McKnight (* 1953), head of the team of the United States Geological Survey , which examined the river system of Lake Fryxell between 1987 and 1994.
