Mečislovas Treinys
Mečislovas Treinys (born October 1, 1941 in Asmalai , Utena Rajongemeinde , † July 18, 2008 ) was a Lithuanian politician.
Life
From 1948 to 1952 he learned in Liepiniškės near Utena and from 1952 to 1955 in Kuktiškės . From 1955 to 1959 he graduated from the accounting department at the Klaipėda Agricultural Technical Center . From 1960 to 1965 he studied economics at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija in Kaunas and from 1967 to 1970 in the Aspirantur . In 1971 he received his doctorate. From 1970 he taught at the LŽŪA and was Vice-Rector from 1989 to 1990 and Professor from 1990 . From 1990 to 1996 he was a member of the Seimas .
From 1976 he was a member of the CPSU .
His grave is in the Petrašiūnai cemetery .
