Mechtild Erpenbeck

Mechtild Erpenbeck (* 1955 ) is a German certified pedagogue , psychologist , supervisor ( DGSv ), coach (DBVC), group dynamics specialist (DGGO) and organizational consultant.

Life

She spent her childhood in Münster. She studied educational science and psychology in Dortmund . Mechtild Erpenbeck started her job at an educational institution in Witten-Herdecke. Then followed a move to Berlin and an acting school.

"After a short time as an actress she switched to directing, had her own company in Berlin for 10 years with an international and interdisciplinary (acting / dance / singing) cast, headed a private theater for a few years and in the following years staged on stages from Hamburg to Tübingen" .

After training as a supervisor and group dynamics specialist in psychoanalysis, Mechtild Erpenbeck turned to the systemic consulting approach and began to work as a consultant, executive coach and trainer.

In 2000 Mechtild Erpenbeck founded a consulting practice that stands for project-related collaboration with various independent consultants.

Since the publication of a study and a specialist article that attracted broad and long-lasting media attention, Mechtild Erpenbeck has been an expert on the subject of “competition among women in leadership”.

Mechtild Erpenbeck was a lecturer at various educational institutes and until 2016 led the training course "Qualification as a Coach in Business" at the Academy for Business Executives , Überlingen.

Since 2015, Mechtild Erpenbeck has been increasingly concentrating her activities in the direction of individual coaching and conflict resolution work.

In March 2017 her book “Becoming effective in contact - the systemic attitude in coaching” was published by Carl-Auer-Verlag .

Mechtild Erpenbeck has been a member of the DBVC Presidium since 2019 and is increasingly concentrating her work on providing individual advice to those responsible in companies and on conflict resolution work in management bodies.
