history

Medina Azahara was founded in Córdoba ( Andalusia ) in 1979 by Pablo Rabadán ( synthesizer ), Manuel S. Molina ( bass ), Manuel Martínez (vocals), José A. Molina ( drums ) and Miguel Galán ( guitar ). The first disc of the band, which was the band's name is strongly influenced by the in Spain known skirt skirt andaluz ( Andalusian rock , z. B. Triana ). The success in Spain came with the song Paseando por la mezquita (Walk through the mosque).
