It deals with medical liability law (medical liability law and other civil liability issues in the health care system), medical criminal law (medical criminal law and other aspects of criminal law in the health care system), the law of service providers in statutory health insurance (contract doctor and contract dentist law); Law of the non-medical service providers, the benefit law of the statutory and private health and long-term care insurance, the professional law of the health professions, hospital law, the cooperation in the health service and the fee law of the medical service providers. Further topics of the journal are drug and medical device law, health care legislation and medical ethics.

In the essay part, medical law topics with scientific claim are discussed. Prepared court decisions are printed in the jurisprudence section.
