The Medusa Lake is a slightly brackish lake on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . In the Vestfold Mountains it lies east of Ephyra Lake , with which it is temporarily connected via a 1 m wide and 0.5 m deep channel. Its shore length is 3.5 km.
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 2006 because of the resemblance of its shape to a medusa .
