Mee is an impact crater in the southwest of the front of the moon south of the Mare Humorum . The north-eastern edge of the large but severely eroded crater is overlaid by the irregularly shaped Hainzel crater .

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Scottish amateur astronomer Arthur Butler Phillips Mee .
