Meetschow is a district of the municipality of Gorleben in the joint municipality of Gartow in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in the extreme northeast of Lower Saxony . The place is east of the core town of Gorleben.
The Seege flows into the Elbe north of Meetschow . The Meetschow village church , which was probably built in 1731, is located on the northwestern edge of the village . To the north-east of Lake Laasch was the Meetschow castle wall .
On July 1, 1972, Meetschow was incorporated into the Gorleben community.
