The megalithic complexes in the Bois de la Tougeais are located southeast of Pleudihen-sur-Rance , near Dinan in the east of the Côtes-d'Armor department in Brittany in France .

The gallery grave

The remains of the Allée couverte du Bois de la Tougeais are north of the hamlet of Les Rouchiviers. Only four orthostats have survived from the gallery grave that was once around 14.0 m long . Next to the megalithic complex there is a menhir about 1.0 m high .

The dolmen

The Dolmen du Bois de la Tougeais is located between the hamlets of L'Hôpital and Les Rouchiviersam at the highest point of the forest. It consists of an oval capstone 3.3 m and a small one 1.8 m in diameter. The capstone leans against a rock in the north and rests on three supporting stones. The entrance is partially blocked by a relocated lock stone. The chamber height is about 0.80 m. The stones next to the dolmen may have formed an enclosure.

Nearby, in the far west of the Ille-et-Vilaine department, is the Allée couverte Four-ès-Feins .
