Megan Mascarenas (born October 29, 1997 ) is an American climber .

Career

She started climbing when she was 3 years old and grew up in Colorado. She has been successful in national and international competitions since she was accepted into the ABS competition team in 2010. In 2015 Mascarenas took 1st place at the Bouldering World Cup in Vail. The sportswoman was able to build on this success just a year later by winning the national championship. In 2016 she took 4th place in Innsbruck and 3rd place in Meiringen at the Bouldering World Cups. At the penultimate Bouldering World Cup in Vail (Colorado) , she was able to defend her title from the previous year and took first place.

Megan Mascarenas bouldered grade 8b on the rock .
