The Mehaugen (Norwegian for middle hill ) is a hill in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . In the Sør Rondane Mountains, it rises up as the middle of three hills (the others are the Nordhaugen and the Sørhaugen ) on the eastern flank of the Kampbreen .
Norwegian cartographers, who also descriptively named the hill after its geographical position, mapped it in 1946 using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
