The Sørhaugen ( Norwegian for South Hill is) a hill in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Sør Rondane mountains, it rises as the southernmost three hills (the others are the Mehaugen and the Nordhaugen ) on the eastern flank of the Kampbreen .
Norwegian cartographers, who also descriptively named the hill after its geographical position, mapped it in 1946 using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
