Mehmet Besler (born March 24, 1984 in Bucak ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Besler started with club football in the youth of Akdeniz Üniversitesi SK and in 2001 moved to the youth of Bucak Belediye Oğuzhanspor . In 2004 he moved with a professional contract to the then fourth division club Kütahyaspor and played here for the next three seasons. In the summer of 2007 he was hired by the fourth division team in his home province of Burdur , but only played the first half of the season.

For the second half of the 2007/08 season he was hired by the then fourth division club TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor . Here, in the summer of 2009, he was promoted to the TFF 2nd Lig . With this previously unknown club, Besler was also the play-off winner of the TFF 2nd Lig in summer 2010 and was promoted to the second highest Turkish league, the TFF 1st Lig . In the TFF 1. Lig they sat down at the top of the table and even took over the lead at times. At the end of the season, the club made it into the play-off of the TFF 1st Lig, but missed promotion to the Süper Lig in the penultimate instance . After the relegation of Tavşanlı Besler moved to Keçiörengücü in 2014 .
