Mehmet Gürkan Öztürk (born March 26, 1989 in Ayancık ) is a Turkish football player.

Career

Öztürk began his club football career in 2002 in the youth department of Ayancıkspor, the club in his hometown Ayancık. A year later he moved with his family to Istanbul and played here in the junior departments of Altınova SK and İstanbulspor . In 2007 he received a professional contract with the latter and played for this club until the summer of 2011. During this time he was loaned to Küçükçekmecespor and Gümüşhanespor on short notice . In 2011 he moved to Gümüşhanespor and a year later to fourth division Aydınspor 1923 . With this club Öztürk ended the fourth division season 2012/13 as champion and rose to the TFF 2. Lig . Öztürk and Sinan Uzun formed the team's storm and, with his 14 league goals, played a key role in this success.

After he had stayed at Aydınspor in 1923 after promotion, he moved to the next second half of the season to first division club Çaykur Rizespor . In the summer of 2014, Öztürk moved to Yeni Malatyaspor .
