Multiple feed

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The multiple feed is a form of antenna coupling . This means feeding a vertical radiator , for example a self-radiating transmitter mast at several points. For this, the transmission mast , the transmission tower or the trap antenna used must be divided into several parts with isolators . The upper sections are fed via cables laid in the mast or tower structure. The multiple feed is used to implement transmission antennas that reduce fading .
