The center feed (also center feed ) is a form of antenna coupling . This means the feeding of a vertical radiator , for example a self-radiating transmitter mast , in its center. It is used with some half-wave radiators and has the advantage that a grounded transmission tower or transmission mast can be used.

To implement the central feed, wires are stretched along the transmission tower or mast, which are connected at their lower end to the voting house and which are connected to this in the middle of the antenna carrier.
