The milestone at Lettewitz is a small monument in the town of Wettin-Löbejün in the Saalekreis in Saxony-Anhalt .

The milestone near Neutz-Lettewitz is located today at Landesstraße 50 , the successor to Bundesstraße 6 , east of Bundesautobahn 14 , which replaced what was once the most important highway in the Saxony-Anhalt area in this section of the route. He is one of the few witnesses of the first Prussian highway , which was decided in 1786 and implemented by 1801. The stone is a quarter-mile cube, which was probably set up when the road was completed, but maybe a little earlier, as the individual sections between Magdeburg and Großkugel on the Saxon border were gradually completed and in some cases also equipped with milestones.

As is so often the case, the 60 centimeter high stone was moved later. It used to be 200 meters further south. There are raised ovals on all four sides. Nevertheless, the quarter mile stone is still between the whole mile stone in Nauendorf and the half mile stone in Beidersee , i.e. in the correct historical order. The weathered milestone of the Magdeburg type is under monument protection and is recorded in the monument register with the number 094 56045. It stands on a base plate that was only rediscovered in 1999.
