MJ Trow

Meirion James Trow (born 1949 in Ferndale in the Rhondda Valley , South Wales ) is a British writer who published under the acronym MJ Trow .

Life

Trow attended Warwick School from 1961 to 1968 after his parents moved several times because of their son's poor health. In 1968 he went to King’s College in London to study history. After graduating, he attended Jesus College in Cambridge for a year . Trow married in 1973 and moved to Havenstreet on the Isle of Wight with his wife in 1976 , where he worked for many years as a history and politics teacher at Ryde High School . His work as a writer began in 1985 with the publication of the novel "The Adventures of Inspector Lestrade". Since then, Trow has published well over 30 books, of which, however, only nine novels from the series about Inspector Lestrade have appeared in German.
