Melanie Bergermann

Melanie Bergermann (* 1980 ) is a German investigative journalist . She heads the department "viewpoints" in the Wirtschaftswoche .

Career

During her political science studies , Bergermann wrote for North Rhine-Westphalian regional newspapers and Radio Kiepenkerl from 1999 to 2003 . From 2003 to 2005 she worked as a freelancer for the Mainzer Allgemeine Zeitung and the ZDF . From 2005 to 2006 she completed a traineeship at the Holtzbrinck School for business journalists . From 2006 to 2009 Bergermann was the corporate editor “Banks” at Wirtschaftswoche . In August 2009 she switched to Gruner + Jahr , where she wrote as a corporate editor for banks and insurance companies for Capital , Financial Times Deutschland , Impulse and Börse Online . In 2009 Bergermann was listed in the "Top 30 to 30 of 2009" by Medium Magazin . In July 2012 she returned to Wirtschaftswoche to set up an investigative team there. In 2018 Bergermann took over the management of the "Blickpunkte" department of Wirtschaftswoche .
