Melanie Groll (born June 21, 1987 in Apolda ) is a former German soccer player .
Melanie Groll began her career at SV Blau Weiß Niederroßla and came to FF USV Jena in 2003 through VfB Apolda . With the U18 selection of the club, she was second in the DFB Cup. Groll plays in the Thuringia team and became the 2008 NOFV Cup winner and was promoted to the women's Bundesliga with Jena . On the first day of the 2008/09 season she made her Bundesliga debut in a 3-2 home defeat against Hamburger SV . On May 29, 2011, she announced that she would end her football career at the end of the season.
She took part in the 2009 Summer Universiade in Belgrade with the adh 's national student team.
