Melanie Kinnaman

Melanie Kinnaman (born December 18, 1953 in Holyoke , Massachusetts ) is an American dancer, film and theater actress.

Career

Kinnaman graduated from the prestigious William Esper Studio drama school in Manhattan , New York . In 1985 she started her film career as "Pam" in Friday the 13th - A New Beginning and should continue her character in the sequel Friday the 13th Part VI - Jason Lives . However, after disputes over the budget, Paramount Pictures wrote her character out of the final script. In 2009 and 2011 she played her role as Pam again and spoke about the character in the documentaries His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th and Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th. Instead, she played star in JS Cardone's drama film Thunder Alley. Her only television appearances were in 1989 with a guest role in the " Lifetime Television " comedy series The People Next Door and the comedy drama series Cheers . A short time later there was a small supporting role in Karate Tiger IV - Best of the Best . Since the 1990 Kinnaman works primarily as a producer for the Canadian Independent Film -Produktionsfirma Screen Siren Pictures Inc. 1999 she returned briefly before the camera back and embodied in the TV drama Mary, Mother of Jesus , the Maria .

In 2013 she returned to the camera again and played a leading role in the independent film Motcolmbe.

Theater career

In the fall of 2012, she acted at the Majestic Theater in Benicia , California as the director and main character in her autobiographical One Woman musical "Blond Black & Blue". The musical traces her career and her life.

Kinnaman now lives in the small town of Benicia, California .
