Melanie Kinnaman

Melanie Kinnaman (born December 18, 1953 in Holyoke , Massachusetts ) is an American dancer, film and theater actress.

Career

Kinnaman graduated from the prestigious William Esper Studio drama school in Manhattan , New York . In 1985 she started her film career as "Pam" in Friday the 13th - A New Beginning and should continue her character in the sequel Friday the 13th Part VI - Jason Lives . However, after disputes over the budget, Paramount Pictures wrote her character out of the final script. In 2009 and 2011 she played her role as Pam again and spoke about the character in the documentaries His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th and Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th. Instead, she played star in JS Cardone's drama film Thunder Alley. Her only television appearances were in 1989 with a guest role in the " Lifetime Television " comedy series The People Next Door and the comedy drama series Cheers .
