Melanie Leyendecker (* 1985 in Landau in the Palatinate ) is a German actress .

life and work

Melanie Leyendecker completed extensive courses and seminars between 2003 and 2010. First she received acting lessons from Beles Adam and Dunja Lock, which was followed by a method acting workshop with Lena Lessing at the Forum für Filmschauspiel in Berlin. There she also attended a camera acting workshop with Wolfgang Wimmer. Further workshops in method acting took her to the Susan Batson Studio in New York. Again under Susan Batson, Leyendecker attended the master class “Creating Characters” in Berlin.

Melanie Leyendecker made her stage debut in 2009 at the FestSpielHaus Munich in the play Der Untergang des Haus Usher, based on Edgar Allan Poe . In 2012 she was there with the Yorick's Company in Hansel and Gretel for the intrepid and bony fingers.

Melanie Leyendecker first appeared in front of the camera in the short film A romantic meal in 2005. This was followed by other roles in crime series such as SOKO 5113 and Die Rosenheim-Cops . In 2006 she played the role of Bujana in three episodes of the series Eine Liebe am Gardasee . In addition, she was repeatedly seen in films from Aktenzeichen XY ... unsolved .

Melanie Leyendecker speaks fluent English and Spanish in addition to her mother tongue. She lives in Munich.
