Melanie from Sass

Melanie von Sass (* 1976 in Starnberg ) is a German actress .

Life and accomplishments

Sass grew up in Feldafing in the Bavarian Oberland, studied theater studies for two semesters in Munich after graduating from high school, and began studying acting at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich in 2000 . During her studies she took part in productions at the Münchner Kammerspiele , the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin and the Ettlingen Castle Festival .

In the 2001/2002 season Melanie von Sass appeared at the Münchner Kammerspiele in "Alkestis" by Euripides (director: Jossi Wieler ). In the 2002/2003 season she also played in “Heiliger Krieg” by Rainald Goetz (director: Lars-Ole Walburg ). From 2004 to 2006 she was engaged at the Konstanz Theater before moving to Saarbrücken . Since then she has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Saarland State Theater. Now she works as a coach.
