Melissa Panarello (born December 3, 1985 in Catania , Sicily ) is an Italian author.

Life

In 2003 she published the erotic bestseller With Closed Eyes (org .: 100 colpi di spazzola prima di andare a dormire ) under the pseudonym Melissa P. , allegedly her personal diary about sexual debauchery as an adolescent girl. In connection with this book, (soft) erotic black-and-white photos of the author were also published, which are also circulating on the Internet. The book has been published in over 40 countries. In Germany it was also published as an audio book read by Milka Loff Fernandes . A film adaptation by Luca Guadagnino was released in Italian cinemas on November 18, 2005 and is available on DVD in Italy and since winter 2006/2007 also in Germany. Her second novel “You love” ( L'odore del tuo respiro - “ The smell of your breath ”) was published in 2005 and also has autobiographical features. Her third work was published in April 2006 with the title In nome dell'amore .

To this day she lives in Rome as a writer and TV personality. She gave birth to her first child in October 2019.
