José María Mellado

José María Mellado Martínez (* 1966 in Almería , Spain ) is a Spanish photographer and author .

Life

Mellado has been a photographer since the 1990s and, according to her own statements, was influenced by photographers like Isabel Muñoz and Ouka Leele . He has made a name for himself internationally as a landscape photographer. In 2015, as part of the Encuentros Fotograficos del Mediterráneo at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Granada, he gave a course on technology and style followed by a discussion. His books deal, among other things, with digital photography as an art form.

Mellado was President of Real Sociedad Fotográfica , the Spanish Photographic Society , for five years .
