Melo Freni

Melo Freni (actually Carmelo Freni ; born July 19, 1934 in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto ) is an Italian author and film director .

Life

Freni initially devoted himself to law and, after a brief activity in the judiciary, worked from 1963 as program manager for RAI's cultural programs . In addition, he was involved as a theater director with plays such as Le nuvole or Madama Butterly and has been writing numerous novels and volumes of poetry since 1965, concentrating on this activity since 1995 . In 1985, following one of his early works as a film director, he shot La famiglia Ceravolo for the screen.
