Melusine of Jerusalem

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Melusine of Jerusalem or Mélisende de Lusignan (* around 1200, † after 1249) was a daughter of Amalrich I , King of Cyprus and (as Amalrich II) King of Jerusalem , and Queen Isabella I of Jerusalem.

In 1218 she married Bohemond IV , Prince of Antioch and Count of Tripoli , with whom she presumably had two daughters:

  • Helvis (unsure)
  • Marie , † after 1307, who assumed the title of Queen of Jerusalem after the death of Conradin in 1268 and sold him to Charles of Anjou in 1277 .
