The Melville Peninsula ( Polish : Półwysep Melville'a ) is a 3 km long, narrow and up to 200  m high peninsula in the southeast of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It separates Sherratt Bay from Destruction Bay and ends in Cape Melville .

Polish scientists named it in 1984 based on the name of Cape Melville. Its namesake is Robert Dundas, 2nd Viscount Melville (1771-1851), First Lord of the Admiralty .
