Melvin Calano (born January 12, 1991 ) is a Filipino javelin thrower .
Career
Melvin Calano gained his first international experience in 2017 when he won the bronze medal behind the Thai Peerachet Jantra and Abdul Hafiz from Indonesia at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur with a width of 65.94 m . Two years later he won the Southeast Asian Games in Capas with a new personal best of 72.86 m.
