Abdul Hafiz (born September 1, 1995 ) is an Indonesian javelin thrower .
Career
Abdul Hafiz gained his first international experience in 2014 when he took sixth place at the Junior Asian Championships in Taipei with a width of 62.30 m. In the following year he reached eleventh place at the Asian Championships in Wuhan with 58.71 m and in 2017 he won the silver medal behind the Thai Peerachet Jantra at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur with a throw of 69.30 m . In 2018 he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and finished twelfth there with 67.47 m. In 2019 he retired from the Summer Universiade in Naples without a valid attempt in qualification, but won the silver medal behind Melvin Calano from the Philippines in December at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas with a new best of 71.00 m .
In 2017 and 2019 Hafiz became the Indonesian javelin champion.
