The Memorial Point ( English for monument peak ) is the western extension of Lemaire Island off the Danco coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the headland in 2017 in memory of the British scientists who died in Antarctica without being thought of with an individual naming of a geographic object.
